Kitchen Equipment Technician
Job Description:
Our client, a leading name in Malta's Hospitality & Leisure sector, is seeking a Kitchen Equipment Technician to join their Maintenance Team. They operate branded resorts, spas, restaurants, and internationally recognized outlets.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment (walk-in freezers, steam cookers, ovens, dishwashers, ice machines, etc.).

Install new equipment, repair leaks, and replace defective parts.

Conduct inspections, cleaning, and routine servicing.

Log and manage work requests through the system.

Respond to emergency repairs, including after-hours calls.

Collaborate with maintenance staff and management to solve equipment issues.
Requirements

Strong soldering and brazing skills (oxygen/propane).

Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow manuals.

Refrigerant transition and recovery certification.

Knowledge of electrical and commercial refrigeration practices.

Plumbing repair and installation skills.

Experience in a similar role and able to work independently.

Basic computer skills and a valid driving licence.
