Our client, a leading name in Malta's Hospitality & Leisure sector, is seeking a Kitchen Equipment Technician to join their Maintenance Team. They operate branded resorts, spas, restaurants, and internationally recognized outlets.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment (walk-in freezers, steam cookers, ovens, dishwashers, ice machines, etc.).

• Install new equipment, repair leaks, and replace defective parts.

• Conduct inspections, cleaning, and routine servicing.

• Log and manage work requests through the system.

• Respond to emergency repairs, including after-hours calls.

• Collaborate with maintenance staff and management to solve equipment issues.

Requirements

• Strong soldering and brazing skills (oxygen/propane).

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow manuals.

• Refrigerant transition and recovery certification.

• Knowledge of electrical and commercial refrigeration practices.

• Plumbing repair and installation skills.

• Experience in a similar role and able to work independently.

• Basic computer skills and a valid driving licence.
