F&B Shift Leader
Job Description:
Job Summary:
The F&B Shift Leader is responsible for supervising daily food and beverage operations during assigned shifts, ensuring high service standards, customer satisfaction, and smooth coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the F&B team during shifts (waiters, bartenders, hosts)
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally
- Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate service
- Monitor service standards, hygiene, and health & safety compliance
- Assist in staff scheduling, training, and performance supervision
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and service flow
- Handle cashing up procedures and basic administrative tasks if required
- Ensure the venue is clean, organized, and fully prepared for service
Requirements:
- Skills pass is a must
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage service (preferably in a supervisory role)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-oriented with problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Good level of English (additional languages are an asset)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or related field
- Experience in hotels or high-volume restaurants
