About the Role
Our client, a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant located in St Julian’s, is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to join its team.
The selected candidate will support the day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth coordination between front and back-of-house teams, and high operational standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service flow.
- Lead and support front-of-house staff during service.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and onboarding.
- Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene standards throughout the restaurant.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient communication and service.
- Support stock control and operational procedures where required.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and HACCP standards.
- Assist management in achieving operational and service targets.
Requirements
- Candidates must be residing in Malta or hold a valid EU residence permit.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or restaurant operations is required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Fluent English is required; additional languages will be considered an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
