Our client, a leading company in Malta's Hospitality & Leisure sector, is looking for a Refrigeration Technician to join their Maintenance Team. The group operates renowned hotels, spas, restaurants, and international outlets, offering a dynamic and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems and appliances, including walk-in freezers, industrial cookers, refrigerators, ice machines, and water coolers.

• Carry out regular inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.

• Log and manage tasks through the work order management system.

• Install new equipment, repair leaks, and replace defective parts.

• Collaborate with colleagues and management to resolve maintenance issues effectively.

• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests, including after-hours calls.

Requirements

• Excellent soldering and brazing skills (oxygen/propane).

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow technical manuals.

• Refrigerant transition and recovery certification.

• Solid understanding of electrical practices and commercial refrigeration systems.

• Basic plumbing knowledge and computer literacy.

• Previous experience in a similar role and ability to work independently.

• Valid driving license.
