Job Description:

Our client, a leading organization in Malta's hospitality and leisure sector, operates top hotels and a wide range of restaurants, including well-known international and local brands. They are known for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards across all properties.

The Role
We are seeking a Food and Beverage Server to join the Food and Beverage Team. You will provide attentive, friendly, and efficient service to guests, ensuring their experience meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure personal hygiene and grooming meet outlet standards.

  • Assist in table setup, including linens, cutlery, and buffet counters.

  • Supply cutlery, condiments, and consumables to guests, maintaining adequate stock.

  • Know menu items, including ingredients, allergies, and daily specials.

  • Take food and beverage orders according to standard operating procedures.

  • Record and place orders with kitchen and bar staff.

  • Suggest and serve desserts and beverages.

  • Maintain a friendly and cooperative environment to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Check that guests are enjoying their meals and resolve issues with management support.

  • Encourage positive social media reviews.

  • Prepare and present bills for payment.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, including scheduled deep-cleaning tasks.

  • Follow health and safety protocols and report any hazards or damages to the Food and Beverage Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English.

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.

  • Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and public holidays.

  • Non-European Union candidates must hold a valid Skills Pass (www.skillspass.org.mt).
