Position Summary

Our client is looking for a motivated and people-focused HR Executive to support the day-to-day Human Resources operations. The successful candidate will work closely with employees and management across the organisation, supporting recruitment, employee relations, administration, and HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full recruitment process, from job posting and candidate screening to interviews and onboarding.
  • Coordinate the onboarding and induction of new employees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with employment contracts, employee documentation, and HR correspondence.
  • Support attendance, leave, and other employee-related administration.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and provide relevant information to the Finance team.
  • Handle employee queries and provide support on HR-related matters.
  • Assist with performance management, training, and employee development initiatives.
  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with employee engagement and internal HR activities.
  • Ensure HR records and processes are maintained in line with applicable legislation and company policies.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide administrative support to management when required.
  • Carry out any other HR-related duties commensurate with the role.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within hospitality, wellness, or a customer-focused environment.
  • A qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of HR practices and employment procedures.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Proactive, approachable, and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse team.
  • Applicants must be residing in Malta.
