Production Chef
Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Production Chef to join our hospitality team in Malta. The ideal candidate should have strong kitchen experience, good organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food in large quantities according to recipes and company standards
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
- Follow production schedules and kitchen procedures efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with food storage and inventory control
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly
- Follow all food hygiene, health, and safety regulations
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef or Production Chef
- Good English communication skills required
- Valid Skills Pass Certificate mandatory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Good teamwork and time-management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
