We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading and well established hospitality organisation in Malta, currently seeking an IT Systems Executive to join their Head Office IT Department.

This is a systems focused role combining platform ownership, project delivery, and operational support across multiple hospitality properties.

🎯 The Role

You will take responsibility for the configuration, performance, and continuous improvement of Point of Sale and hospitality systems, while supporting new implementations, integrations, and digital enhancements across the business.

This position focuses primarily on systems administration and optimisation rather than day to day helpdesk tasks.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Manage administration, configuration, and performance of Point of Sale and hospitality systems
• Lead or support system rollouts, upgrades, and technology projects
• Support integrations between Point of Sale, property management, and back office systems
• Troubleshoot application, device, and connectivity issues impacting operations
• Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical challenges
• Maintain system documentation, standards, and best practices
• Provide operational and user support when required to ensure business continuity

💡 What We Are Looking For

• Experience working with Point of Sale or hospitality operational systems
• Hands on troubleshooting experience across applications, devices, and basic networking
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Familiarity with hardware peripherals such as terminals, printers, scanners, and tills
• Ability to manage multiple sites and contribute to technology projects
• 1 to 3 years experience in systems or technical support roles
• Experience within hospitality environments is considered an advantage
