The Role
We are seeking an Invoice and Payment Coordinator with a background in construction to join a dynamic team. This role forms part of an exciting new development in St. George's Bay, Malta, which includes a five-star hotel, luxury residences, renowned restaurants, and an upscale shopping mall.

Key Responsibilities

  • Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts.

  • Verify that quantities, prices, and terms on invoices match agreed terms.

  • Obtain necessary approvals from project managers, procurement, and finance departments.

  • Ensure approvals are in line with budget and project cost allocations.

  • Reconcile supplier statements with company records and resolve discrepancies.

  • Liaise with suppliers to address mismatches or disputes.

  • Prepare ad hoc reports as required by the Financial Controller.

  • Handle day-to-day requirements within the Accounts department.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in accounting.

  • O-level or A-level standard in Accounts is required.

  • Proven experience in a similar position within an accounting office.

  • Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.

  • Proficiency in English, both oral and written.

  • Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of Acumatica accounting software is considered an asset.
